Demolition and disposal of an existing 106-year-old steel truss span bridge and construction of a 246-foot U-80 bridge replacement was no small feat. Especially when the location was only 300 feet upstream from the main intake of Tacoma Washington’s water supply. This made drinking water a top concern as our team worked diligently to ensure public safety and finished the project within six weeks and ahead of schedule.
